The festival session are knocking at our doorsteps and you want to dress yourself as beautiful and elegant as you want . We understand dressing right for the occasion can be quite a task so here we list down 6 tips to dress your best for the festive session. The most important thing we want you do is to be comfortable and always wear your gorgeous smile & confidence on your face .

 

GO NEPALI AS WELL AS WESTERN

Combine Nepali and western wear. For the men wear a sexy pair of jeans with the  waist coat “ishtah coat” with a nice shirt. Women can wear traditional embroidery skirts with simple and basic looking tops and accessorise it to give a nice traditional look. Women can also combine their Tamang selo skirt with the plain or simple strips top . It will surely make you WOW!!

 

 

WEAR YOUR COLOUR

Colours work the best irrespective of fashion, festivities and fads. Wear a range of colours, you can probably have a personal colour – dress code for everyday occasions. Red for upcoming Dashian, blue for Tihar, etc. You can wear multicolored prints and pair it with a classic bracelet-watch to go with the look. Dress well. Just avoid white and light colours (if possible) because you don’t want those red tika and curry stain to spot up your dress and make you look uncomfortable .

You can wear nice flipflops which are stylish yet comfortable embellished with designs and glittery stones. Ornaments beautify an individual’s overall look. If your dress it traditional with loud colours wear a statement piece of jewellery like a big necklace. Do NOT wear too many jewellery pieces else the overall look can turn out to be gaudy. Go mix and match pair funky junk jewellery with traditional and traditional jewellery with a nepali-western wear but do it really well else you may end up looking like a fashion disaster.Otherwise you can also go for metal jewellery as it is also for the traditional festivities too.
